Hello, Reaching For Rainbows Here!
My REAL name is Ellie. The name people USED to call me before I became Mama, Mummy, Mum, "Can you get me a snack please" and "Where did you put my toy?". I like to think of myself as an honest person (some might call me an over sharer) so I thought I would put that honesty to good use and give YOU a real life blog of our unfiltered life. If you follow me on Instagram you will know I try my best to keep things real but you still only see a snapshot, a tiny snippet, a maximum of 2,200 character to convey a point that can usually be interpreted 2,200 different ways. So here's my chance to open up to you all that little bit more, elaborate on our lives, lifestyle and parenting choices.

James and I met through Facebook in 2011 before he left his home of sunny California to see what might await him in Wales. I travelled all the way from Bristol to Wales to see what might await me too but that's not so impressive. 2 rival universities, 3 homes, 3 dogs, countless chickens, ducks and quails, 1 hedgehog, a hamster and 2 children later here we are! Who would have thought it ay?
Calliope is our eldest and the inspiration for most that we do. She's our reason for home schooling and wanting to live a more sustainable lifestyle. An old soul in a young body, rainbows and sunshine personified
Lauchlan is our youngest and a typical whirlwind toddler. He's my homebirth baby and doesn't conform to other social norms either! Think a tornado with arms and both are holding different foods with a big grin on it's face and you have Lauchlan.
